This is a really cool looking beetle I found in a parking lot. My sandal is there for scale (it’s a big insect). Considering that 1 in 4 animal species is a beetle, it’s not surprising I couldn’t come up with a better identification than ‘beetle’ (My entomological skills are also very rusty)
